GENERATION CHURCH

Shawn Beaty is a husband to his wife, Kellie, and a father to his 3 children: Corben, Addison, and Carson. In his spare time he enjoys surfing, snowboarding, golf, and playing music. Before going into ministry full time, Shawn spent several years as a professional musician. A few albums and some national tours later, he walked away from the industry to pursue pastoral ministry. Shawn has a Bachelor's in Organizational Psychology from Bethel University and a Master of Divinity from Bethel Theological Seminary. Shawn is currently a candidate for a Doctorate program at Golden Gate Theological Seminary.

One of Shawn's great passions is for the Church to be one that is a voice of hope and justice in our community and around the world. "The world does not need any more religion, as a matter of fact, it has too much! That is part of the problem we have in our day and age. What the worlds needs is the vision that Jesus had for the world. That peace, joy, grace, hope, and love would permeate all racial, cultural, and socio-economic boundaries."
