"Reflective Christmas" || Christmas in Real Life
Teacher: Tim Parlier Series: Christmas in Real Life Scripture: Philippians 4:6–9
Christmas is a unique time of year where you almost can't help but reflect on the past. Past Christmases, past memories, past hurts, and past joys. It's a reflective time of year to say the least. In our reflection we quickly discover...what you reflect on has an incredibly powerful shaping effect on your life. Many people ruminate on past events, obsess over things causing them stress, even replaying arguments over and over in their minds. Doing this produces anxiety, worry, anger, etc. But God instructs His people from cover to cover of the Bible to set their minds on what He has done. And in doing so, His grace from the past casts a new and hopeful lens over our present and future. What will we choose to reflect on this Christmas? What will we choose to reflect on in daily life? How will that impact us? Join us as we dive deeper into what Scripture says about God's purposes in reflection in week 3 of our Advent Series: "Christmas in Real Life"
