In talking with friends and acquaintances who don't know or follow Jesus, I always find it fascinating to hear what barriers keep them from believing the Gospel. I also find myself compelled to help one of those barriers be removed! It's heartbreaking to hear about barriers to faith in Jesus. In this chunk of scripture we are presented with two large barriers to faith. One is the barrier of comprehension, the other is the barrier of scripture. You might ask, how are comprehension (understanding) and scriptures barriers to faith? Well that's exactly what Jesus teaches us in the verses we're going to study!
